THE FUNDAMENTALS
OF LIFE
Past Reception are audiovisual displays that define Dianetics and
Scientology and provide an understanding of their fundamentals. And
next to these display panels are the film and lecture rooms —
and all of it illuminating the basic principles of the Scientology religion.
L. Ron Hubbard derived these truths from
a lifetime of research into mankind, and worked tirelessly to make them
useable by everyone to improve their lives.
CREATING A BRIGHTER FUTURE
L. Ron Hubbard dedicated his life to helping others.
Whenever he saw suffering, sorrow or degradation in either the East
or the West, he investigated the source and developed workable solutions
to the condition.
Not merely a historical study, his discoveries are entirely relevant
today — for they hold the solutions to society’s worst ills
in terms of immediate application.
When he saw society had become rampant with drug addiction, he developed one of the most effective drug rehabilitation programs on the planet. Under the name
Narconon (meaning “no drugs") this program operates in dozens of countries on six continents, freeing thousands from the trap of drug abuse.
Scientology Volunteer Minister program. With its implementation, anyone could learn real-life solutions to everyday problems and, on a volunteer basis, provide real help to his fellows.
Taking it one step further, Ron wrote The Way to Happiness, a common sense guide to better living. This offers a non-religious moral code to fill the void left by ecclesiastical codes shunned by a widely materialistic society. This booklet has now seen distribution of over 60 million copies throughout 95 countries.
Yet this is but a brief summary of the programs L. Ron Hubbard developed and implemented to better the condition of man and create a brighter future.
A series of displays in the church cover these activities and their planet-wide impact.
